We prefer to receive claims via WhatsApp, as this is the fastest and easiest way for our customers. Of course, you can also visit us in person or send your claim by email.

Car Insurance Claim


Had an accident or car damage?

Always contact CRS at +599 717 9292 immediately. CRS will inform Citizens within 24 hours. If needed, we will contact you directly.

If you report your claim to Citizens via WhatsApp, please provide the following information:

• License plate number
• First name
• Last name
• Email address
• Mobile phone • number
• Date of birth (DD/MM/YYYY)
• Police report (in case of theft or burglary)
• A short description of your request

Travel Insurance Claim

If your car is damaged or involved in an accident, you are required to call CRS (+599 717 9292). CRS provides a service that streamlines the enitre claims process involved in the underwriting and claims operations of the insurance industry, from the moment the accident accurs to the resolution of the insurance claim. Once a report has been made to CRS, you can then call our office.

With regards to travel, health and property insurance claims, you can file a claim online via our website or call us.

It depends on how complex the claim is, how serious the damages or injuries are, and how willing other involved parties are to cooperate. Citizens claims representatives always work toward prompt resolution of every claim. If a claim requires follow-up work, we’ll be there with you every step of the way – no matter how long it takes.

The first step is to start by reviewing your policy. You may also want to ask to our Claims Department representative assigned to your claim to help you understand what coverage you’ve purchased and how it applies to your claim.
